What we do

As a parish council we are involved in taking decisions and action to ensure the interests of the parishioners are understood and taken into account in any local decision making process.

We meet on a monthly basis at the Tithe Barn in Horstead and an agenda for this meeting is available in advance. Meetings are generally held on the second Wednesday of the month at 6 pm and are open to members of the public. Although members of the public are not in law premitted to speak while meetings of the Parish Council are in session, some time is set aside before the meeting for the public to comment briefly on items on the agenda or ask questions.

To provide you with a clearer idea of what we get up to you might wish to review the details of previous meetings.
